A bold house designed for a wooded
hilltop in suburban Santa Rosa. The owner requested a design that made a
strong sculptural statement; therefore, the cantilever style was a
natural choice. The triangular floorplan evolved from the same quest for
a dramatic piece of sculpture. The living room is "airborne"
over the slope below to achieve an exciting vantage point to view the
valley. This scheme remains an unrealized dream in the architect's file
