An elegant garden house fronting on a
golf course in Santa Rosa. The water gardens and mature trees are
brought into the house through walls of glass---the quintessential
indoor-outdoor design concept. The layout was determined by the location
of the big trees and the owner's desire to have separate zones. The
design features pyramidal roofs over each of the primary rooms with
skylights at the peaks. The materials are stone, plaster and planted
roofs. Unfortunately, the house was not built. |
